Why it matters
A clean list is a list you can actually use
Duplicates mean customers get the same message twice. Badly formatted numbers mean WhatsApp links don't work. And names in capitals make messages feel like spam.
- WhatsApp needs international numbers. “07700 900123” won't open a chat, but “+447700900123” will.
- Careful with duplicates. Rows are only merged when the phone or email matches and the names agree. A parent booking for their child with the same number stays as two customers.
- Nothing is silently thrown away. Numbers and emails that can't be fixed are left as they were and flagged, so you can check them by hand.
- Private: the cleaning happens in your browser. Your list is never uploaded or stored.
